The zoo

We went to the zoo in Lincoln and the kids got to not only see the animals, but ride a pony, ride a train, feed goats, feed giraffes, and climb on a spider web. It was a great day!

Trip to Lincoln

We were in Lincoln the first few days of our vacation and played a lot, read a lot, played the piano, and even helped put together a swing set (or park as Brodie called it).

Nebraska!

We just returned from a fun filled week in Nebraska! Everyday was a day filled with laughter, family, friends, and wonderful memories! There is too much to post in one blog, so I am going to post details separately with pictures over the next week or two....so stay tuned.
Here are some pictures of us getting ready to get on the airplane bright and early last weekend. The first day we started in Lincoln and we were all ready for a nap after playing out in the Nebraska heat.

Weekend

The weather has been very nice here and we have been enjoying playing outside. We have been to the park, the lake, and to the weekly outdoor concert again with the face painter. I never get tired of the view of the lake and mountains here.

Picnic!

We went on a picnic at the park tonight. It was a beautiful evening (a little cooler than the midwest) and we all had a lot of fun.

Bible School

Brodie went to Bible school today for the first time and loved it. They are learning about God's green earth. He came home with a bucket with stickers of beach stuff on it. I know it's not kindergarten, but it is so hard for me to believe he is old enough to go to "school". He did a great job and really liked it. I may have to start looking into pre-school for him.
Isaac is getting over a cold. His sleeping habits got out of whack during this virus, so we need to start working on getting him sleeping though the night again before his mother gets too cranky.

National Night Out!

We went to a parade for National Night Out. Champ, the mascot for the local minor league baseball team got off of his ride to come give Brodie five and give him candy. Brodie was so excited!

Little did we know how much our lives would change on August 2nd, 2007! We only knew at that moment that we loved you and would love you forever! What a blessing you have been to our lives! We are so lucky that God let us watch over you and love you for the last 3 years! You have brought joy, laughter, honesty, purity, and so much love to our lives. You have grown so much over the last year and we look forward to the next years to come!
