Weather

It was nearly 60 degrees outside yesterday and we took advantage of it. We put rain boots on the boys and went outside to play in the puddles. Isaac wasn't sure what to think at first and wouldn't walk in the boots. But as soon as he figured out he could actually walk in the big boots, he took off and had to stomp in the puddles just like his big brother. I thought I got some great video of Isaac stomping in a puddle, but I actually got video of my sweat shirt. Unfortunately, we ended up with some road rash on Isaac's face. I thought he just ended up with mud on his face and was trying to take his picture, but soon figured out there was some blood mixed with the mud. Luckily it wasn't too bad and looks a lot better today.
It snowed over night and with the wind, it is very cool today. So much for the nice weather!

More snow

We got some nice wet snow last night. There was some lightening and thunder during the snow storm. It was fun to watch.
Brodie and Abel were getting their winter gear on this morning to go shovel and Isaac thought he was going to go outside with them. Mom had other ideas. He was not happy when he didn't get to go help. He even got out his favorite bat and tried to beat down the door. :)
The guys had been outside for awhile, so I decided to check on them. Brodie was on top of Mt. Crumpit, as he calls it, throwing snow balls.
Isaac is walking more than crawling now. He seems happier now that he walks. He likes to walk around with his bat and hit a balloon or ball.

Snow, snow, snow

How much snow are we going to get?
I think it might be a snow ice cream day today......
We decided to play with some play-dough, but it was about a year old and a little dry, so I made some new blue play dough! Isaac did very good and only tried to eat it once.
Isaac climbed into bed with Brodie when he woke up from his nap. I think he would like to sleep in the big boy bed.
We had fun playing outside. Isaac didn't like making a snow angel, but enjoyed it otherwise. Now it's time to make some snow ice cream!!!
