We are ready for warm weather!

It has been a little warmer lately, but it is still pretty cool!  We have to wear winter coats when we go for a bike ride.  At least it wasn't snowing today :)

We tried making colored bubble pictures last night, but it didn't quite go as planned.  Isaac was trying to inhale the liquid and the bubbles didn't quite make the impression on the paper that they were supposed to.  The boys still had a little fun.

Happy Friday!

It has been a long 2 weeks as Abel has worked everyday and had some very long days.  I know I should really feel for him (I actually do :), but I am more excited for myself that he has the weekend off.  I'm not sure how single parents do it.  I love having my husband home and so do the boys!

We always have so much fun skyping with our family back in Nebraska.  Sometimes the boys have a little too much fun :)  Somehow, Grandpa always gets them worked up :)

Shortly after they got done talking to Grandma and Grandpa last night, Abel came home and the boys went running outside to greet him.

It took a little while for the boys to calm down for bed.  We had a great night!

The things you hear

Yesterday, I was in the bathroom and I heard Brodie say to Isaac, "Do you want me to read you a book?"  I walked into their room a little while later and saw this...

Today I was upstairs doing laundry and it got very quiet downstairs.  This is what I walked into...

As I was going upstairs after church this afternoon, I heard Brodie whisper to Isaac, "turn on the tv."  When I came downstairs, Isaac was standing on his potty chair, which was on the handlebars of his tractor.  He was reaching towards the tv.  I said, "Isaac, what are you doing?" (as I'm quickly walking to him before he cracks his head)  Brodie responds "he's trying to turn on the tv"  Hmmm...I wonder how he got that idea?  ;)

Fun with baking soda and vinegar!

We had a little fun with an experiment tonight.  We put baking soda in a pan and then added colored vinegar to the pan and watched what happened.  The boys loved it!

If you are wondering how long it took the boys to put soda in the vinegar......it didn't take long :)

More Easter Fun!

We went to our friend's house to find eggs before church yesterday.  Brodie and Isaac had fun playing with their best friends Christian and Ellie!  The boys had an Easter party at church and found eggs again after church.  We now have WAY too much candy!

Easter Eggs

We decorated eggs last night.  We had a lot of fun making lots of different colors.  Today we went on an Easter egg hunt, but unfortunately by the time we made it into the park, all of the eggs were gone.  Thankfully, our friends from Nebraska had gotten in line earlier than us and gave us some of their eggs.
