It was a beautiful day and we had to make one last trek down to the waterfront.  We've taken a picture there every year since we've moved.

Last Day of Farm School

Brodie had adventure camp this week at Shelburne Farms.  He had a fantastic time!  Sure wish we could transport Shelburne Farm's and all of their fun activities to Nebraska :) 

It was a hot week, so it was a little preparation for the Nebraska heat.  But, hopefully we will have central air in Nebraska :)

Two weeks and counting

We have less than two weeks in Vermont and I'm already getting a little weepy.  I had to say good-bye to one of my closest friends in Vermont today because she is leaving for vacation and will not be back until we are gone.  I am also trying to get photos of the boys with their daycare providers.  I am so excited to move, but will miss a lot about Vermont!

It was just about 3 years ago that we stumbled on to Acorn Alley child care.  We were so impressed with Stephanie (in the photo above) and we have continued to be so happy with all of the love and care she gives to the boys.   Just look at their smiles - they love her also!

Father's Day Fun

The weather was beautiful and we enjoyed the sun.  We tried out a new park and finally got Isaac a new bike helmet that hopefully doesn't squish his head :)

Beach time!

It was sunny and warm, so we hit the beach this afternoon.  Isaac wasn't too sure he wanted anything to do with the water at first.  But he warmed up fast and was 'swimming before long" and even swallowed a little lake water :).  Brodie had fun kicking and punching the water and even started to put his face in before it was time to leave.  We may have to make a trip back soon!

It's Saturday!

We went to Lowes and made a Madagascar airplane.  Isaac keeps calling me 'silly' because I put rotor blades on the airplane (which he thinks should only be on a helicopter). 
We played at a park with some friends and went for along walk tonight.  I can barely keep up with Isaac on his 'bike.'  I only wish it had brakes because he can really get going down hills!  It makes me laugh because he makes motorcycle noises the entire time on his 'motorcycle.'  Brodie decided to walk tonight, but he was sure to bring his water gun.

Post Card

I was going through a stack of art from daycare today and found a postcard addressed to 'Daddy'  It is difficult to tell, but it says 'Daddy Awesome'  - Brodie tells me that it says 'Daddy is awesome'.  I'm not sure I will be able to top this for a Father's Day present :)

The sun is back out (at least for a little while)

We had a great morning.  The boys got their photos taken at daycare.  Isaac didn't want anything to do with the picture taking, so it will be interesting to see how his pictures come out.  We then went and played at the park and had a ton of fun.  We may have to get some corn on the cob to eat tonight (only because Isaac loves it :)
