Great Day!

We had a great day today!  The boys and I made some slime this morning.  They had fun playing with the slime and I had 'fun' cleaning it up :).   We then went outside to play in some water (to clean up the slime).  Abel got to come home early from work and then found out a short time later that he passed his written boards!  Now, only oral boards left to go!  We went to Chili's to celebrate (Brodie's choice :)  We are feeling so blessed!

The Joys of Potty Training

Isaac has yet to pee in the toilet or potty chair.  This morning I let him run around naked and told him to tell me when he had to potty.  About an hour later, he came and told me he had to pee.  At first I thought he had already went (on the floor since that is what he has done in the past) and we were looking through the house for the wet spot.  I then asked him if he wanted to pee on the toilet and he did not want to.  I then asked if he wanted to pee on Lightning McQueen (meaning his Lightning McQueen potty chair).  He said yes, so I went to go find the potty chair and in the mean time I hear him saying, 'I peed on Lightning McQueen.'  He actually did pee on Lightning McQueen -the toy - in the toy box.  I'm still taking it as a success since he told me he had to pee and then did it. 

The Good Life

It's so nice to be able to go see family and friends when we have a few days off.  We went back to Lincoln at the end of last week for Heath's graduation celebration and to see family!  We had a fantastic time.  The boys got new fishing poles and Brodie got a bow and arrow.  We've had a lot of fun playing with those!  We also got to go to the Rib Fest which was delicious, but cut short due to the rain.

Abel starts work today and Brodie goes to Kinder Kamp at the YMCA this week.  Isaac and I will get to have some time to play together.  We might have to find some water to cool off in :)  There may be a little silliness this week!

We had a fun few days back in Omaha/Lincoln.  We got to see Grandpa and Grandma Luksan, Grandpa and Grandma Buman, GreatGrandma Buman, Aunt Jodi, Uncle Rob, Emma, and Ellie!  Brodie got a lot of birthday presents and we all had a lot of fun! 
Now, we are enjoying our last few days before Abel starts work.
