More Christmas fun

We didn't get as much Christmas cookies/candies made as I hoped, but we did have a little fun.

The boys each had a Christmas party at school.  They did great.  We both got to go and enjoyed every moment!  Watch the videos at your own risk.

Isaac was first.

The Most Wonderful Time of the Year, continued...

We drove back home on Christmas day and Grandpa & Grandma Buman and the Hains came to visit on the 26th!

Isaac helped me bake some cookies for the celebration!

We tried doing some pinterest projects...try being the key word
Adding baking soda water for the volcanoes

The kids seemed to like the volcanoes although they didn't work quite as visioned

Simba getting in on the action

You could say the candy canes kind of worked, but the kids couldn't help due to the heat and they didn't taste all that good

Going to the park and to Chimney Rock was more of a success.

We had a wonderful week!!!

The Most Wonderful Time of the Year

We've had a wonderful couple of weeks celebrating the birth of our Savior!!  We went to Colorado and went skiing with Grandpa and Grandma Luksan, Rocki, Grayson, Tyler, and Trevor!  The weather was perfect!  There was 24 inches of snow during the 3 days we were there.  Isaac threw up on the way down (so he and I missed the first day of skiing), but we won't talk about that.

Heading out the first day!

Fun at the end of the day

Look who we found.

There was a parade down the mountain on Christmas Eve night, followed by fireworks and a Christmas service.

Waiting for the parade.  It was a little chilly.

There are the fireworks with the red lights on the mountain.
