Rock climbing and wrestling!

Brodie got to go rock climbing at school.  He was very nervous to do this earlier in the year, but was not as anxious today.  I apologize about the end of the video because I didn't realize I had not shut off the camera.  So, you can just stop the video after the screen goes black :)

A little of this and a little of that

Since we haven't gotten much snow, we've been taking advantage of the nice days and playing outside. 

We did get a very little snow which we played in and also had a little fun in the house when it was really cold.

Valentine's projects

Well, I am actually shocked that our Valentine seeded paper is actually working.  We had a great time making our seeded hearts, but I wasn't sure they would actually grow anything.

The boys tore up paper and put it in the blender with a little water.

And then we added some flower seeds...

And then we poured the concoction into a heart cookie cutter sitting on a screen..

and then used sponges to try and get as much water out as possible.  

We enjoyed some Valentine cookies after all our hard work :)

We planted them earlier in the week and we have had fun watching the plants begin to grow over the last few days!

Blizzard?

We were waiting patiently for the blizzard to start this weekend, but we didn't even get enough snow to play in. 

We got a little outside play in before the cold wind blew in.

We got a little super hero play in.

And we started working on our Valentine's while we were waiting on that snow.
