Happy May Day!

We had a great time making May baskets as we were waiting for the snow tonight :)

Signs of spring?

We've been looking for signs of spring:

And I think we are finally staring to see some.

Our tiny pieces of seeded paper are turning into some pretty impressive plants! 

We are are also very surprised that a bean seed that Brodie planted in school is sprouting.  We had kicked it over a few times and we weren't even sure if there was a seed still in the dirt. 

Hopefully we can start transplanting some of our plants outside soon!

Happy Spring!

Is it spring yet?

We have been so happy to get a little snow here, but the closer we get to May, the more we are anxious for some sunshine and warm weather.

We've been a little creative in trying to find things to keep us entertained while we've been stuck inside.

We've had some fun with balloons.

We got out some old hats to put on

colored a little 

stuffed a pillow

planted our tomato seeds

and made a fort

So pretty!

It was nice out today with only a small chance of rain
before the snow comes tomorrow, so we took advantage of it!

And we're off

Isaac got tired, so he and I headed back to the truck while Daddy and Brodie kept going to the top

Soccer Saturday!

Both boys had soccer today and it was so much fun!  Isaac went first and had a blast at first.  He got bored by the end and said 'this is taking so long!'  I think he liked the drills better because he got to kick the ball more.

Brodie had a great time playing soccer today!  He scored 3 goals during the game and was very excited about that.  It is amazing how much he has improved over the last 3 months since he last played!

We went to the Children's museum when we were in Lincoln.

We had a difficult time getting Isaac away from the tractor

April snow brings May flowers?

We are so happy we are getting some moisture, but sure wish it could have been during the winter :)  We'll take what we can get.

Easter Week

We made Easter egg vanilla wafers for Brodie's school

and we played outside a little since spring had arrived.

We then headed to Lincoln and Omaha for a fantastic Easter week!!

The boys had a nice surprise from the Easter bunny when they returned from Lion King.

We had some fun playing in the water (we won't mention the tail bone injury that I keep whining about :)

It may not look like Blake is having fun, but he came back many times
