Fun Weekend Getaway!

The boys and I got tickets for "A Christmas Carol" for Abel for his birthday.  It was a quick trip to Denver this weekend for the show, but it was definitely worth it. 

Dinner before the movie.  Thank goodness a lady stopped us on the street and asked if we needed help.  She directed us to a pizza place within walking distance of the show.

We went to the Denver Museum of Nature and Science the next day and we all had a great time!

Isaac's Christmas Program

Isaac had his preschool Christmas program tonight.  Isaac sang or yelled most of the words tonight, so we were happy!

Snow Day!

We unexpectedly got 14 inches of snow Sunday night, so the boys had a snow day Monday! 

We got some presents wrapped

Overall, it was a great day with a lot of fun for everyone!

Silly String Fun!

When we were buying the wrapping paper for Abel's birthday present, the boys saw some silly string for sale.  We didn't get to use it on Abel's and Isaac's birthday, so I made sure we got to use it a few days later.

Double Trouble Birthday!

We had a great day celebrating Isaac and Abel's birthday!

Chopstick (our elf on the shelf) decorated our tree for the occasion.  Can you see him?

Isaac wanted to take homemade vanilla ice cream for his school treat, so we brought ice cream toppings and ice cream.  The kids loved it! 

We actually opened presents before school because Isaac could hardly wait.  Isaac had been waiting and waiting for a very specific present.
