Is it spring yet?

As soon as I thought we were getting healthy around here and the house was scrubbed clean, Brodie's kindergarten class decided to share the stomach bug.  Yuck!  Brodie had it this weekend and Abel has it now.  Hopefully Isaac and I don't get it, but I don't have a lot reason to believe we won't catch it.  We were sharing Abel's water last night.  I guess this is one way to keep the house clean.

We have had some fun in between illnesses.

Brodie really wanted me to buy some cupcakes with plastic rings in them for his treat day at school.  I just couldn't make myself buy any cupcakes.  So, I made some cupcakes with Oreos crushed up on the frosting.  I then made animal cookies and put them on top of the "dirt."  I don't think Brodie was very impressed.   Maybe I should have just given in. 

Brodie's 100th day of school is tomorrow.  He had to make something with 100 parts.  He put 100 snowflake stickers on a "Frozen" poster.  It was an easy, fun project.

Whatever Brodie does, Isaac has to do also

Fall Family Photos

Here are some of my favorite photos from the fall.  At the time, I was questioning why we were attempting to get any professional pictures.  I had been rushing to mow all of the weeds and get a quick shower in before the photographer showed up (and then we didn't take hardly any pics at our house due to the sun).  The boys were in crazy moods and were being extra silly.  I think Abel was post call and tired.  I kept thinking there was no way we would get any good pictures.  I ended up loving the pictures.  I guess it is probably because that madness that I just described is our life and I love every bit of it!

Warm and windy

It was a little warmer this weekend, although the tumble weeds were still flying by.  We burned off some excess energy outside and enjoyed every second of that windy weather!  I think it may be bad that I am already looking forward to spring!
