Ahhh....vacation!

We just returned from a fantastic vacation in Mexico with Grandpa and Grandma Buman!
It was very warm so we did a lot of swimming!

Brodie got a lot of use out of his goggles.

The boys swimming improved immensely over the 1 1/2 weeks we were there!
Isaac wouldn't hardly put his head under water at the beginning of the week and by the end, he was swimming across the small pool all by himself!

We also had fun at the beach!

The first morning in Mexico, Isaac woke up early, so he and I headed down to the beach.  We had a little fun one on one time.

The boys had fun trying to build a sand trap to catch fish with Grandpa and Grandma.  Brodie caught one in his hands for a little bit.

The boys loved the waves.  Brodie got really brave and good at swimming in the waves.

Isaac loved chasing the birds

Ready to get those waves

Grandpa and Grandma had a little work to do one morning, so we headed out to the beach.

We had some fun away from the water also.

Getting some fish at the fish market

Waiting for our food at Grandma's favorite restaurant

Brodie relaxing

The boys loved getting cotton candy ice cream!

Brodie lost a tooth in Mexico and the tooth fairy brought 20 pesos!

Breakfast on the deck with a great view!

A sweet note from Grandman and Grandpa

One of the many games of soccer that were played

An intense game of slap jack

The boys loved riding on the 4-wheelers!

Isaac is ready to ride again!

Ready to ride!
I think the boys had more fun with Grandpa and Dad than with me

More soccer while we were grilling

We went searching for sea shells one day and had lots of luck!

Isaac found a sand dollar

More soccer...this time on the beach

The gadgets the boys bought
Someone may have turned 40 when we were in Mexico also!  It was a fabulous day.  It would have only been better with a few more family members present!

We played hard and also slept hard!

We had a great 4th of July also!

More Spring Fun!

We've been swimming and playing some T-ball this spring when it has been nice out.

Abel is having fun coaching the boys local team

One bats left

and one bats right

Brodie is tall enough to go to the big pool this year

Here he comes down the slide

Isaac really wanted to go to the big pool

It has been a great start to the summer!

The boys are ready to ride the 4 wheelers in Mexico!

This and That

I've been so bad about posting lately, so here are some photos of our activities over the last month.

The boys play spider man for endless hours

The boys found a salamander with their friend, Tommy

We got a tiny hail storm compared to the east side of the state

The boys had fun making water balloons they got from Aunt Debbie!
Isaac singing at his preschool spring program
The snake the boys found when playing outside

The boys and I were a little disturbed by his squirming body even after he was decapitated
On a happier note, our butterflies came out of their cocoons.

The boys had fun letting them go.

Our crazy puppies destroyed our flower garden (which I really didn't know what I was doing with anyway).  So, we decided to make it a little less work and hopefully still eye appealing.  We put the boys to work.

They took a few breaks to play.  Running in the sprinkler is a great way to cool off

I'm not sure this is how you run in the sprinkler

Making progress

and then another hail storm came, so we had to take a break

VBS!

The boys had a great week at Vacation Bible School!  Isaac loved it this year and I was so happy he didn't have any tears like last year!  Brodie had a great time also.  He was in the 1st grade group.  I guess I'd better accept he will be in 1st grade pretty soon!

Crazy hair day at VBS

Super Hero Day

Waiting for the program to start

Isaac got a little bored listening to the missionaries talk

He got his leis taken away shortly after this picture.
It's finally time to sing!
