Sesame Street Live!

We got to go to Sesame Street Live this week! One of the mother's from our daycare, works at the hotel where the staff from Sesame Street Live was staying and got all of the kids and families free tickets! We were in the fifth row!
Brodie wasn't sure what to think at first, but then warmed up and had a great time. He keeps asking to go back again.

Trip to Nebraska

It was a fast, emotional trip back to Nebraska. It was SO good to see family! Brodie had so much fun playing with cousins and grandparents! It was also good to hear stories about Great Grandma Stranathan and to see pictures of when she was young! We miss you Great Grandma!!

Fun Easter Week

It was so nice in Burlington this weekend. We got to play outside in the mud and go for several walks. I am beginning to appreciate the term 'mud season.' We also had fun making Easter cupcakes and made a birthday cookie for Stephanie, our childcare provider. We are loving this time of year!

Beautiful Day!

It was beautiful here today and we had so much fun! We went to an Easter egg hunt this morning and played in the park after collecting eggs. We decorated Easter egg cupcakes for church tomorrow in the afternoon. I wish it would stay this nice for the rest of the month!

Haircut!

Here's some pictures of Brodie getting a haircut. We were going to give him a mo hawk, but decided not to :). We were working on getting Isaac to go to sleep without being held yesterday also. He cried for 90 minutes for the first nap, but got better with the second nap and bed time. Hopefully today will be better. So, here is a picture of him crying so you can all share in his misery (this picture is not from trying to go to sleep - he would actually be much more angry :)

Decorting eggs!

We had a lot of fun decorating eggs tonight! Holidays are so much fun when Brodie is 2. He just loves all of the activities. We will do an Easter egg hunt at church next week. Can't wait for all of the holidays when we are back in Nebraska and both boys can participate!

Happy Birthday Gabe and Ellie!

Brodie and Isaac's cousins had birthdays this week. We really wish we could have been in Nebraska to celebrate! Brodie has been singing happy birthday all week, but of course when I try to tape it, he doesn't do it. Isaac did a very good job of singing happy birthday on tape :). Happy Birthday Ellie and Gabe!
