Thomas the Train

We surprised Brodie with a trip to New York to see 'Thomas the Train'. We rode on a car, a boat (ferry), and a train. It was a very long day, but we had a wonderful time!

Isaac or Brodie?

Here are a couple of pictures of Isaac and Brodie at about the same age (Isaac is a couple of weeks older). Here are also some more pictures of Brodie playing in the pool this afternoon. Abel got to come home early from work, so we were very excited! Only one more 30 hour work day this month!

Summer fun!

It is a hot day today in Burlington, so we decided to bust out the pool, or the water hole as Brodie likes to call it. I couldn't remember where I put it for the winter, but Brodie remembered exactly where it was. Brodie had a blast playing in the water! The video is from his first steps into the pool!

Baby chicks

We had a lot of fun outside this weekend. One of our neighbors is a preschool teacher and had three baby chicks from the school. He brought them out so Brodie could see them. They were sooo cute! We are getting very excited for Aunt Jodi, Uncle Rob, Emma, and Ellie to come visit soon!

Isaac's first bites of food

We had a great Saturday. Abel has Saturday and Sunday off this weekend so life is good. We went to Shelburne farm today and we thought that Brodie would be excited to see the animals and feed a baby lamb, but he was actually most excited to ride on the tractor to and from the parking lot. We also gave Isaac his first bites of cereal tonight. He wasn't sure what to think at first, but then actually seemed to like it. He would grab my hand to bring the spoon to his mouth!

Outside fun!

This is what happens when I send Brodie and Daddy outside to play while Isaac is sleeping :) It is difficult to see in the picture, but he has road rash all along the right side of his face. The picture really does not do it justice. It is quite impressive in person. Of course, they are still playing outside as I type, so it must not hurt too much.
