Memorial Day

We did a little work on Memorial day (yesterday), but had a little fun also!

We met Mumum and Papa for dinner last night to relax after all of our hard work!

Today, we got the new fridge (I am so happy to have a fridge upstairs that works again!)  We also started a fire in the fire pit to burn some of the branches that fell off in the storm.  We had to have some s'mores also! 

Happy Birthday, Grandma!

We were so happy to be able to spend the day with Grandma on her birthday!!

Finally, A Few Sunny Days!

We've had a few sunny days recently to get outside and it has been wonderful!  Isaac's baseball team finally got a game in.  Isaac had a blast!  He pitched the first inning and struck two out.  He also played first and catcher.

Yesterday, we took some time away from working at the house to go to the park.

We had a fun day!

School's Out!

The boys had their last day of school last week and we are trying to find some non rainy days to out and enjoy their break!

The highschool basketball team lets the younger kids come to their open gym summer work outs, so we will definitely be taking advantage of that!

Summer Fun!!

It was a beautiful day out today and we took advantage of it!  The boys were chasing Flynn (our cat) around outside and followed him into the trees next to the outbuilding.  The found a creek way down an embankment.  The boys had a ton of fun exploring and getting muddy!

Coming back up was harder than going down.  Nothing better than a helping hand from your big brother!

We found our way out!  It was a great adventure!

Their clothes and shoes are still not clean after going through the wash twice.  I hope the come clean!

Valentine's Day, Snow Day, Soccer and a lot of Basketball!

We've had a few fun, busy weeks!

They boys have had fun playing basketball this winter.  We only have 2 weeks left of the season.  Brodie's team had a tournament today and got second place.  They worked hard and were exhausted at the end of the last game.  I just hope they look back on the tournament fondly rather than disappointed.

Brodie almost smiled in this one (I was begging him to eat this morning but he wouldn't because he  wasn't hungry)

Isaac's team still hasn't won a game, but hopefully they are having a little fun and are learning a little also.  They may actually be having too much fun....doing other things.  Right after tip off of this weeks game, I looked to see why the team wasn't running down the court.  Two of our players were playing rock, paper, scissors in the middle of the court!  That pretty much sums up the game.  :)

Brodie had a 3v3 soccer tournament last weekend.  His team got better every game as they figured out the ins and outs of playing 3 v3 soccer. 

We love having the outbuilding this winter.  It has been great for the boys and their friends to go play in.
