St. Patrick's Day

Even though we weren't quite as prepared this year, we had a great St. Patrick's day.   The boys made their leprechaun traps the night before St. Patrick's day.

Isaac's final trap

I had such good ideas for the leprechaun.  Unfortunately, I didn't execute them well enough.  Brodie came out of his room Tuesday morning crying.  He said he had seen the leprechaun's hand and it wasn't small.  It was a big hand and it took his gold.  He said it was very scary.  Apparently, he saw his mother's hand as she was hiding behind the foot of his bed.  Well, I had to tell him I was pretending to be the leprechaun.  He actually took the news better than I could have hoped.  He's done a great job with Isaac.  He just wants to make sure that I will act like the leprechaun again next year.

The leprechaun turned Isaac's hair green

and he turned the milk green

Isaac said the milk tasted like a leprechaun
All in all it was a pretty great day!
