April Fool's Day

I'm beginning to think I enjoy the holidays more than the boys :)  I had so much fun planning the day!

The boys had jello in their juice cups instead of juice to start the day.

I can hardly wait for him to take a drink

and then when he finally goes to take a drink, he had a pill in his mouth

Brodie was then so excited for Isaac to get up and try taking a drink.

Isaac wasn't quite as impressed as Brodie.  He says, "Mommy, why did you do that?"

Brodie wanted a cold lunch today for school.  Little did he know what he was asking for.

I took the veggie sticks out of his sack and put in Doritos.  I then taped it back shut.

He had a spider on his sandwich and peas and carrots for a veggie (they were really candy)

Brodie liked the lunch and complemented me on the April Fool's tricks.  He even tried the peas and carrots.  He said he didn't think I would pack something he didn't like, so he tried them. 

I made pizza for supper (which was really a cookie with frosting) with broccoli (apple flavored tootsie roll with frosting and sprinkles) and cupcakes (Isaac had chicken nuggets with ketchup frosting and Brodie had eggs golden rod).

Brodie said it was the best day ever, so that makes all the work worth it!  I think we may have a future jokester on our hands!
