| Opening birthday presents! |
We headed to camp after church. We made to it to the camp site when it was still light, so putting up the tent was a fairly smooth process.

| There was a playground close to our tent at our first camp site. |
We stayed near Estes Park for three nights at Mary's Lake campground. It was a nice campground, but just had a lot of other campers (several from Nebraska and one from Gering).
We went hiking to Gem Lake our first full day at Estes Park. It was a great hike with quite a climb and a lot of beautiful views!

The boys loved the lake at the top because there were several friendly ground squirrels. We stopped to have a little snack and the ground squirrels were begging for food. One even jumped up onto Abel's lap.
